About

The8thArchive was not born in a boardroom. It started in a bedroom.
My obsession with cars, design, and storytelling was enough to push me to stop dreaming and start building. Nights were spent buried in car builds, midnight drives, and forum deep dives, chasing that feeling when a clean build rolls past.
Founded in 2025, The8thArchive is a Malaysian visual archive dedicated to preserving and reimagining car culture through story-driven graphic posters.

[ Authenticity ]

Everything in The8thArchive comes from real fascination.
I spend hours photographing and editing every car, researching its history, its personal story, and even the people behind it.
Every poster is built from my obsession at getting it right.
But I know I’m not always perfect, especially with my amateur knowledge of cars, so if anything feels off, I’d love for you to share your knowledge and help improve the Archive.

[ Respect ]

I aim to honour every car, its build, and the people behind it.
I always consider the owner’s privacy and make sure nothing sensitive is shared without permission.
Photos are taken in public spaces, license plates are covered, and if an owner ever wishes for an image to be removed, I make it happen.
I want anyone who sees the Archive to feel the passion and thought behind every car, without misrepresentation.

[ Craftsmanship ]

Each poster is A2 in size, printed on 180 gsm polymer paper and finished with a premium matte lamination for durability and a clean, polished surface.
Unframed posters are carefully rolled and wrapped in kraft paper, then placed in an eco-friendly, sturdy kraft tube.
Framed posters come in a black frame with shatter-free acrylic and a ready-to-use wall hook.
I personally ensure each package is sent with care, so your poster arrives exactly as I intended.

[ Heritage ]

Heritage is why I started The8thArchive.
I wanted to capture the stories, moments and details that define car culture and preserve them before they’re lost.
Through the Archive, I hope future generations can feel the same excitement and awe as me, you, and anyone who has ever first gotten into cars.
That wild, screaming enthusiasm when spotting a rare or unique car for the first time.
Whether it’s in hidden car parks or at local car meets, the energy, passion and creativity of each moment are what I strive to preserve in every photograph and poster.

[ Inspiration ]

Before I start on any car, I try to pick a concept or style that fits it.
All the photos, edits and designs for that car follow the same idea, so everything feels cohesive.
It could be soft, aggressive, minimal, or artistic depending on the car and the story I want to tell.
The location, setting and atmosphere also play a big part in finding what suits the car best.
This approach takes more time and effort, but it keeps the Archive consistent and ensures each design stands on its own.
I do have some favourites, though, and that’s when I bundle them into collections such as the “Monochrome Series,” where vibrant red cars contrast their muted backgrounds.

[ Vision ]

At The8thArchive, we are not just documenting cars.
We are creating a space where design, storytelling and car culture meet.
Our vision is to make this more than an archive.
A place where enthusiasts, newcomers, and dreamers like us can connect with the passion behind each build.
We want our posters, photography, and designs to spark curiosity, preserve creativity, and invite everyone to be part of the car culture we love.

[ Evolution ]

The Archive is always growing and evolving with every new car, poster, and collaboration.
Each addition brings fresh ideas, styles, and layouts while staying true to the Archive’s vision.
Every project shapes the Archive’s identity, making it a living record of car culture.
I’m constantly learning, experimenting with new ways to photograph, edit, and design each car.
I aim to keep pushing its boundaries, and I hope anyone who experiences it can feel the energy, care, and passion behind every piece.

The8thArchive is not only about me.
It is a record of what car culture feels like, how it evolves, and the moments that make it unforgettable. Every drop is part of a bigger story — yours as much as mine.

Thank you for joining me on this journey, and welcome to The8thArchive.
